Iris isi doneaza ziua de nastere copiilor dezavantajati
Iris Golopenta United Way Romania
Dragi prieteni, colegi, cunostinte, viitori amici, oameni inca necunoscuti,
P.S. Multumesc!

Dear friends, colleagues, acquaintances, future pals, still unknown people,
I don’t want any presents for my birthday, this year. On the contrary, I would like to offer a present, and that is particularly my birthday itself.
I offer my birthday to the children who never celebrate it, not because it’s not a reason of celebration in itself, but because they don’t have the resources to do it.
I offer my birthday to the children who were born in disadvantaged environments, not at their choice, and who constantly face social problems and obstacles.
It’s not much, it’s certainly not enough, it’s not a substantial, nor a long-term support. On the other hand, it is something that may make their birthdays beautiful…their birthdays, as well as mine! J
If you would have taken me out for beers, please donate the money for the bill (nope, I wouldn’t have paid :) )
If you would have bought me a book, please donate the money for the book.
If you would have sent me an SMS, please donate the money for the SMS.
P.S. Thank you!
